about the day Rose Lived |
| Our experiences with Rose on the PICU at
Connecticut Children’s Medical Center were by far the most dramatic
moments in our lives. As witnesses to these wonderful but scary events we’ll
never want to forget what we’ve seen. We’ve all done our best to write
down what happened, how we felt, what we’ve learned. |
Dad’s story is a pretty detailed narrative of
the events around Rose’s first two days in the PICU.
|
Mom’s story includes her thoughts during some
of the key events during those two days and her reflections since
then.

Katie’s
Story - Katie’s over her case of writer’s block.
Katie finished the story the first week of third grade. She was actually the first one to start writing about Rose.
She started a story in her journal at the beginning of the
second grade. Katie was 6
years old when she started and 7 when she finished it.
